It took a while to figure out the club acoustics during the first set, as this is the smallest venue we’ve ever appeared at while we hadn’t played here before and didn’t have an opportunity to do a proper sound check. So my humble apologies for the poor sound during the first set. Hopefully as we made sound setting and amplifier changes the 2nd and 3rd sets were fine.

The next day took us outside at the Markham Museum where we played our stuff during a one hour show under the rooftop of the band stand which protected us from the continuous rainfall. The band consisted of Richard, Brian, Don, Carl and me. A wet but fun experience.

On Sunday September 7th we’ll be in Markham again in the outdoors at its Main Street Classic Car show when we’ll play one morning show and two afternoon shows. Just check shows for details with band line-ups.

The following day i’m off to Chicago (with its excellent blues clubs) for a few days but hope to work on new songs with the band when i get back to Toronto.

Till the next time,

Ron
